When I decided to have a career in the arts, I thought this will be a lot of fun. Create artwork, gets it hung up sell art and that is that. There is much more to the art world than painting pretty pictures. Everywhere you go the rules are different. Some galleries like to place their own spin on your exhibit and others follow your vision and what message you wish to present. What I have learned is if you know how you want to represent your work, you need to speak up and let your voice be heard. When you do remember to be kind and respectful because the galleries are there to help you present your work in the best light.
